On the bottom of page 184, can anyone explain how B/F arrived at the
$3,039,000 figure for the 1971 IBNR reserve?
Answer:
Do not spend time trying to resolve this figure for the "snowballing"
effect. It cannot be done.
Note: The "cannot" is not supposed to challenge anyone. It really is a
waste of study time!
