can you help me with q59 woll efficiencies part c
if we assume the variance is .3050 the popular
answer then are we using
wolls first formula, wolls second formula or
what????
var(x)=.3050 e(x)=.2547, the frequency per jim shoenfelts excellent
answer sheet
wolls first formula gives var(m)=
var(x)-e(x)=.305-.2547=.0503
e(m)=e(x)=.2547;
so cv(m)= sqrt(var(m))/e(m) =
sqrt(.0503)/.2547=.88055208
so efficiency = cv^2 insurance plan/cv^2 pop =
(.88055208/1.1)^2=
.64080 my answer to part c.
can you tell me what is happening here is this wolls
first formula or some other formula, is this correct???
thanks for your help
