Study Techniques

I am curious to know what study techniques people are using for this exam at
this stage. I am in the process of reading through the entire syllabus without
taking notes. I am planning to go back to the beginning and do a more thorough
reading the next time through. Also, how far along are you at this stage? It
seems early to me but this syllabus is huge and obviously requires a lot of
time to get through. I would guess that I am about 1/3 of the way through my
first reading.
