I am just getting started, and have not seen this subject material before.
I am looking at Chapter 3 Lansburg.
I have the spring CSM and on page 21 question a10 or the 97S #8 test
It states "Indifference Curves must slope downward" and is True.
But,
Same page CSM a7. Or 95F #27 has us drawing 'indifference curves'
With slopes that are zero, and undefined in places. Or what about
A5, 94S #26 where they draw an indifference curve for spring water and air
pollution
Isn't this a slope upward?
1. What am I missing about the slopes which makes them sloping downward
True?
And
2. What about these other exception cases. Any hints on how to think
through drawing them?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Erik
