Yes, you are correct that the wording is backwards. Switch A and B on =
p. 446 and the definition will be correct.

Has anyone else noticed any typos in Landsburg's Economics book? =
For example, in Chapter 12, pg.446 under Pareto Optima he states, =
"outcome A is Pareto-preferred to outcome B if a switch from outcome A =
to outcome B would make at least one player better off without making a =
player any worse off." Am I reading this wrong or is this worded =
backwards? The discussion that follows indicates that the wording is =
backwards. What do you think?
