Hi!
However this exercise is not taken from CSM, but it concerns life insurance
math, so i'm hope you're not angry with me. it's from Gerber's LIM:
show that: [(IA) x - A x1:n]/[(IA) (x+1) + A (x+1)] simplifies to v*px.
now the solution says that nominator can be rewritten using commutation
functions: [Rx-Cx]/Dx.
this is the part i don' understand? surely IAx is Rx/Dx but why term
insurance is Cx/Dx?
