I don't always get how the stationary population problems are presented,
but this is how I broke down this problem:

Year # of New Bulbs # aged 1 # aged 2
0 2500

1 2500*.2=500 2500*.8=2000

2 .2*500=100 .8*500=400 .75*2000=1500
+ .25*2000=500

3 .2*600=120
+ .25*400=100
+ .5*1500=750
