I think that what Daykin is trying to say (not very clearly) is that the ti=

of underwriting cylcles is fairly consistent from country to country=2E However,=
=20=
the size of the upward and downward swings (the amplitude of solvency ratios)=20=
can vary from country to country due to country-specific factors=2E
