Duties and Responsibilities:
.. Lead a team and participate as a member of that team in managing the
entire tactical pricing process; from securing and analyzing company and
industry date to ensuring quality and timely preparation and presentation of
rate proposals for states in an assigned territory
.. Participate in strategic planning and implementation of strategic
projects
.. Assist in new product development and pricing
.. Perform miscellaneous actuarial analysis in support of other
departments
.. Prepare for Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams with ultimate goal
of attaining Associate Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or Fellow Casualty
Actuarial Society (FCAS) designation
Requirements:
.. Four year college degree, preferably in math/actuarial science
.. At least five years experience in personal lines property/casualty
pricing
.. Consistent progress in attaining CAS designation
.. Demonstrated leadership and management skills
.. Strong personal computer skills
.. Proven decision-making and analytical skills
.. Effective communication skills
