Re: Risks in international business

Harold Skipper has a book entitled "International Risk and Insurance: An
Environmental Management Approach" (Published by Irwin-McGraw Hill, 1998,
ISBN # 0-256-23304-7) which covers these sort of problems, as does the new
book by Leonard Watson entitled "The Global Environment of Insurance"
(Published by Irwin-McGraw Hill, 1999, ISBN # 0-07-237945-6). Both books
are excellent. I have used the book by Skipper for three years (from its
preprint form) and intend to use the Watson book in the future in my MBA
class on Managing International Risks. International finance books have
the foreign exchange stuff, but I also use some Harvard Case Studies when
teaching this part of the course.
