The leadership groups of the three organizations asked the Task Force to
prepare a vision of what a partnership between the academic community
and the actuarial profession might look like in 2005. Having reviewed
previous drafts of that vision, the leadership groups are interested in
your reactions to the current draft of "Vision of Academic Partnership
2005", which is available through the CAS Web Site at
http://www.casact.org/academic/letter.htm.
The Task Force's goal is to prepare a revised draft for the joint
September meeting of the CAS and SoA Boards. They welcome any comments
or suggestions regarding the Vision document and have created a
printable response form for ease of response. The Task Force is seeking
comments and suggestions by Monday, July 12.
