I am currently involved in the re-write of our book "Foundations of Casualty
Actuarial Science." One of the sections of the "Special Issues" chapter
concerns "Data Sources." In order to write as informed a section as
possible, I thought it might be enlightening to get some input from the CAS
membership on this issue.

I would be interested in hearing which data sources you find most valuable
in your actuarial work. Things like A.M. Best publications and Annual
Statement data are givens; what other sources of data do you find most
useful?
