Y2K Reserving

There's probably been discussion on this topic but I've
missed it. Are there papers or techniques out there
for dealing with setting reserves for y2k? And a question
for the internet: are y2k triggers more due to product liability,
at which point the trigger could be when the item was made,
or in some cases, sold, (unless the coverage is claims-made),
or when the problem actually occurs, as is more likely with
business interruption? If a policy incepts at Jan 01, 2000,
at 12:01, (& a lot of them will), is the claim assigned to
the previous policy year? Does the year 2000 begin at 12:00
midnight or at 12:01?
I'm sure others have addressed this more systematically
than I -- directions / input welcome.
