Drake University has an open position in actuarial science. The actuarial science program has been in existence for over 50 years and currently has about 110 majors, all at the undergraduate level. Position: A tenure track position in actuarial science in the College of Business and Public Administration, to begin August, 1999, pending budgetary approval. Rank and salary based on qualifications.
Duties: Teach six courses per year; recruit, advise, and place students; conduct scholarly research; and serve the University and the profession.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in actuarial science or a related area along with Associateship in the CAS or SOA is preferred.
