Life vs. PC

I was ruminating on how to respond to this question, but then I saw Stu =
Klugman's response. Let me simply echo his message.

I will add that I think many PC actuaries need to feel comfortable =
working with more amorphous situations, e.g. toxic tort, sexual =
harassment, high layer excess covers. It's my impression that the "core" =
of actuarial work in the life area is a bit more settled than in the PC =
area. It's also true that life actuaries are more used to working with =
the asset side of the ledger, but this is changing rapidly.
