I am resending this message as a reminder. The
deadline for ideas is fast approaching. We welcome
any and all suggestions - be they from Fellows,
Associates or Students!

DO NOT RESPOND DIRECTLY TO THIS MESSAGE.

The CAS Committee on Professionalism Education is looking
to develop some new case studies that can be used to help
further the membership's understanding of our professional
and ethical obligations. The best such cases are those that
are based on contemporary issues and those that are based,
at least in part, on real-life situations faced by our members.

The committee would like to solicit your ideas on
contemporary issues or scenarios that we can use to develop
into case studies. These ideas can be loosely articulated
and need not be based on real-life situations, although that is
definitely preferable. The more detail you can offer, the
better. Please DO NOT INCLUDE NAMES of people who
might have actually faced these situations (we are not the
ABCD).

We are NOT asking you to develop the case studies. We
ARE looking for some new ideas that we can develop into
cases that raise questions of appropriate professional
conduct. It would be useful if you would identify yourself,
although this is not required. We might want to contact you
to clarify your suggestions and to ask your review of our work
products around your ideas.

We'd appreciate it if you could send us your ideas by July 1,
1998. (Anything sent after that date will be welcome as well!)

DO NOT SUBMIT IDEAS THROUGH CASNET! Rather,
