I took the course over the internet last fall also, and I just wanted to add
that I also thought it was a useful, well organized course.

It is, to some extent, an expansion on the Part 10C--Assets, Valuation, Solvency
and Capital (and would cover all on the new Exam 8 to be offered with the
changes in 2000), but more importantly expands on the investment valuation
knowledge and the application of such into the P&C world.
Its a great review of all the investment material you MAY have thought you
already knew, and a great expansion into much material that is new to you.

Steve D'Arcy (& Kevin Alghrim) allowed a lot of flexibility on handing in
assignments and tests for us working stiffs, but I would agree that time has to
be allocated well to get the most out of the course.
