The latest complete U.S. Life Table is the U.S. Decennial Life Tables for
1989-91. It was publicly available late last year. It can be found on
"http://www.cdc.gov/nchswww/products/pubs/pubd/lftbls/decenn/1991-89.htm". It
includes tables for white males, white females, males other than white, females
other than white, all males, and all females. It is also known as DHHS
Publication No. PHS-98-1150-1. I believe that the NCHS intends to make
available state tables also, but I don't know if they are available yet.

Subject: Mortality Table

I'm trying to find a copy of the latest Standard US Mortality Table- it
would be around 1990/91. Would appreciate it if anyone who has one in
computer form could e-mail it to me privately.

If anyone knows the general impact of this table (e.g. general percentage
improvement in mortality), I'd appreciate knowing that, too.

Thanks.
