Some of the more recent applications have used the ability of SAS to
interface with other systems, through the creation and "accessing" of
..dbf, .xls, and other file formats and structures, and the sometimes
more "efficient" and powerful simulation applications to overcome
shortcomings I have discovered with @Risk.
There is no doubt about its ability to read so many file formats,
anywhere from mainframe files to interpreting "structured" ASCII
print files or .txt report files.
