Everest Reinsurance Company is a subsidiary of Everest Reinsurance Holdings,
Inc., a publicly traded company (NYSE, symbol RE).
Everest Reinsurance has an opening in the Corporate Actuarial area. This area
is responsible for all reserve analysis and actuarial financial analysis and
reporting. The unit is also involved in the corporate planning function. The
successful candidate for this position should have 2 to 6 years experience.
Reserving knowledge is required, reinsurance experience would be a plus. Oral
and written communication skills are important.
Everest National Insurance Company (ENIC)
ENIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Everest Reinsurance Company specializing
in the writing of primary insurance (mainly Commercial Lines) through third
party program administrators (TPAs). The TPAs provide both distribution and
administrative services for the company. ENIC is a growing company with
expected 1998 premium writings of over $100 million.
We have an opening for a senior actuary in ENIC who will be responsible for
virtually all the actuarial support for the company including
pricing/ratemaking, reserving, planning, reviewing new programs, and any other
relevant functions. Fellowship is preferred, but we will consider Associates
with a strong background. Commercial Lines experience is essential. Strong
oral and written communication skills are necessary as the successful candidate
will be part of the management team with interaction with all areas and levels
of the company.
Both of these positions are at our Liberty Corner location with easy access
from routes 78 (Exit 33), 287 (Mt. Airy Road), and 22.
