As an actuary with a growing p/c consulting practice, I have seen several
requests for proposals that have an association with a minority business as a
prerequisite to being awarded the job. This is especially true with government
related contracts. I contacted all of the actuarial societies in hopes of
obtaining access to information about minority business enterprises, but was
unsuccessful. I am curious what other people do to fulfill this requirement.
