SEDGWICK ACTUARIAL SERVICES
We are a growing actuarial consulting practice specializing in
alternative markets and self-insurance. Based in Nashville,
Tennessee, our national practice includes colleagues in Philadelphia,
Boston and Portland, Oregon. We offer a fast-paced, professional
consulting environment within one of the world's largest insurance
brokers. Two special individuals are needed to fill the following
positions:
Financial and Actuarial Consultant
Orange, California. The Consultant should have three to five years of
responsible actuarial experience, preferably with some exposure to
workers compensation pricing and reserving, and three to five exams.
This individual will perform financial and actuarial analyses for
clients, such as self-insured claims reserves, loss forecasting,
retention recommendations, cash-flow analyses, and experience studies.
This position offers extensive client and prospect contact and the
opportunity to work as a member of a team of professionals with
various risk management backgrounds. Superior oral and written
communication skills are a must. Some travel expected.
Actuarial Analyst
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Rapid growth in our Pennsylvania office
has created the need for an additional analyst. The actuarial analyst
should have at least two exams and one to two years experience. An
individual with excellent academic credentials but less experience or
less than two exams could be considered for an actuarial trainee
position. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a
prerequisite. The colleague filling this position will assist with a
variety of actuarial analyses, and will be expected to manage more
than one assignment at a time.
