D.W. Simpson & Company assists the client’s hiring process in a straightforward and expedient manner. The following outlines the steps routinely taken with clients in the interview process. Please keep in mind that we are flexible to accommodate each client’s specific process.

Our recruiters will present resumes of candidates, per established client protocol, that best fit the position description provided by the client. We then will arrange an introductory telephone call or on-site interview and coordinate any necessary arrangements such as candidate travel. After the initial interview, D.W. Simpson & Company will provide feedback to/from both the candidates and clients, and will proceed to:

  1. schedule subsequent interviews
  2. terminate the process with the candidate in a constructive and professional manner
  3. proceed to the offer stage

At the offer stage, D.W. Simpson & Company will advise the client as to the compensation and benefits levels that are current in the actuarial market and provide our recommendation for an offer most suitable to both client and candidate. We also can be active in the negotiation process, forwarding the client’s rationale to the candidate while keeping the client informed of any issues or concerns the candidate might have with regard to the offer and position.
