Registration Information
The CAS Spring Meeting will be held May 18-21, 2003, at the Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Marco Island, Florida. The fee is $650 for active members, candidates, or subscribers of the CAS or members of actuarial organizations worldwide. The registration fee includes three continental breakfasts, a luncheon on Monday, refreshment breaks, two receptions, and a buffet dinner on Tuesday evening. The fee for accompanying persons is $200. Please note the special one-day registration for candidates on Monday, May 19. The fee is $150 and includes breakfast, a luncheon, and two refreshment breaks.

All fees will increase by $50 if a registration is received after May 2. The CAS will send confirmations to all registrants prior to the meeting. A complete registration form and fee schedule are enclosed on pages 19-20.

Cancellation Policy
The registration fee will be refunded for cancellations received by May 9, 2003, less a $50 processing fee. Cancellation requests must be mailed to:

Suggested Attire
Business casual attire is suggested for all sessions, as well as the receptions on Sunday and Monday evenings and the buffet dinner on Tuesday evening. New Fellows and new Associates are expected to wear business attire for Monday's business session and photographs. Since meeting room temperatures and personal comforts vary, it is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.

The average daytime temperature in May in Marco Island is 85 degrees and the evening temperature is approximately 70 degrees.

Airline Information
The Marco Island area is serviced by two airports. Naples Municipal Airport is 15 miles from Marco and is serviced by two airlines. Southwest International Airport in Fort Myers is 53 miles from the hotel and is served by 20 airlines. Approximate one-way taxicab fares to the hotel are $30 from Naples and $75 from Fort Myers.
