— Registration —
The enrollment fee for CAS members, active candidates, and subscribers is $625. The nonmember fee is $725. Active candidates of the CAS have attempted at least one CAS actuarial exam in the last two calendar years.

The registration fee includes two continental breakfasts, one reception, a luncheon on Monday, refreshment breaks, and all materials needed for the seminar.

All fees will increase by $50 if registration is received after September 23, 2002. Preregistration will close on September 30, 2002. On-site registration will be available at the seminar. The CAS Office staff will send confirmations by regular mail to all registered attendees.

— Lodging —
The October 2002 CAS Special Interest Seminar on Catastrophe Risk Management will be held at the Sheraton Buckhead Hotel Atlanta, 3405 Lenox Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30326, (404) 261-9250. The Sheraton Buckhead is in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta's prime business and entertainment district.

A limited number of hotel rooms have been reserved for the evenings of Sunday, October 6 and Monday, October 7. Rates are $175 for single or double occupancy, per night, plus tax. Hotel reservations MUST be made by September 15, 2002. Reservations can be made by calling (404) 261-9250. Please specify that you are with the Casualty Actuarial Society when making your reservations to receive the negotiated group rate.

— Transportation —
The Sheraton Buckhead is located 17 miles north of Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport. Atlanta Airport Shuttle offers shuttle service from Hartsfield International Airport to the Sheraton Buckhead for approximately $18 one way and $28 round trip. This service is available by calling (800) 842-2770 or (404) 524-3400. The MARTA, Atlanta's public rail system, is $1.75 each way. The Lenox MARTA station is one block away from the Sheraton Buckhead. Parking at the Sheraton Buckhead is currently $8 per day for self-parking and $10 for self-parking, overnight guests.

Delta Air Lines is offering discounted airfares to seminar attendees flying into the Hartsfield International Airport. To take advantage of these reduced fares, please call Delta at (800) 241-6760 and refer to file number 169223A.

— Cancellation Policy —
Registration fees will be refunded for cancellations received by the CAS Office on or before September 30, 2002, less a $50 processing fee. Only written cancellations will be honored. Cancellations will be accepted by fax at (703) 276-3108 or by e-mail at kdean@casact.org.

— Suggested Attire —
Business casual attire is suggested for all sessions, including the reception. Since meeting room temperatures vary, it is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. The average temperatures in Atlanta during October are between 51°F and 72°F.
