Objective

The number and intensity of insured catastrophic events may have eased in the latter part of this decade, but maelstroms are raging in the insurance, reinsurance, investment, and scientific communities. Actuaries are involved more than ever in managing catastrophic riskā€”and due to the creation of new investment vehicles, actuaries have increasing involvement in managing asset risk. The purpose of this seminar is to bring seasoned actuaries and other insurance professionals up to date on these issues.

Target Audience

The program is aimed at the experienced actuary who is involved with catastrophe risk. It will also be beneficial to actuaries and other professionals interested in learning more about the latest developments within this complex topic.
