Seminar Objective
The 2001 Seminar on Ratemaking provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of ratemaking methods, concepts,
and issues. Sessions are available for insurance professionals with ratemaking knowledge levels that vary from limited to
advanced. A number of presentations will focus on the traditional areas of ratemaking such as automobile, property,
workers compensation, other commercial lines, and reinsurance in both introductory and more in-depth formats. Areas of
interest related to ratemaking such as data management, regulation, managed care, and dynamic financial analysis will be
addressed in other sessions. This seminar provides an opportunity for actuaries to further their continuing education.
