The CAS provides a number of speaker and session management resources for current and prospective speakers and planning committees for our continuing education offerings.

Then choose a delivery option for posts (Real Time, Daily Digest or No Email)
Session Management Resources
The staff of the Professional Education Department has developed these Resources to assist coordinators, moderators, and speakers. Among the resources provided, the Session Management Guide explains the roles of the session coordinator and moderators and outlines the session development process. Interactive Session Ideas is a list of ideas to engage audience members, as audience engagement is key to the success of the session.
Being a Better Speaker
Speaking at a CAS seminar or meeting is also a responsibility... speakers play a critical role in the overall success of the education programming at the event. Together we will be able to provide great learning experiences for the people who attend CAS professional education events. The online Speaker's Guidebook describes the expectations and roles of speakers, preparing for your session as a speaker, and delivering your content. The Guidebook mentions seven 10-minute video recordings to explain the process in greater detail with an emphasis on Adult Learning Principles. The Speakers' Toolkit is a summary of the Guidebook.
