The aim of the annual CAS Special Interest Seminar on Dynamic Financial Analysis is to enhance the actuary’s role in the business planning process by integrating traditionally less familiar asset-based concepts with the more familiar liability concepts. This year, the seminar will highlight the numerous recent contributions of authors responding to the CAS Call for Discussion Papers on DFA: Parameterizing Models. The seminar will also present some of the growing number of business applications in the Management Applications track.

Target Audience

This seminar has been designed to acquaint CEO’s and CFO’s with how DFA can be used to improve capital management, and to further the educational pursuits of actuaries of all experience levels. The primary goal is to encourage the interchange of ideas through the presentation of practical applications and uses of DFA.
