Overview

Scheduled for November 16-19 at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, the 2008 Annual Meeting will include a business session, featured speaker, a wide range of educational sessions, 2 receptions and a moveable feast at Experience Music Project/Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. The Annual Meeting is an opportunity for actuaries and other professionals to stay up to date with topics relating to insurance and risk. This meeting will allow actuaries to pursue their continuing education requirements while also providing a forum for informal discussion with colleagues.

CAS Centennial Goal

The CAS will be recognized globally as a leading resource in educating casualty actuaries and conducting research in casualty actuarial science. CAS members will advance their expertise in pricing, reserving, and capital modeling, and leverage their skills in risk analysis to become recognized as experts in the evaluation of enterprise risks, particularly for the property and casualty insurance industry.
