Overview
The 2005 CAS Annual Meeting is a forum for actuaries and other professionals to stay current with issues affecting the insurance industry.
This meeting will also allow actuaries to pursue their continuing education requirements with time allotted for informal discussion with other CAS members.
General Sessions are planned on a variety of topics:
- Loss Reserves-Facts and Perceptions
- Risk Transfer
- Rating Agencies
- Developments in Regulatory Capital Models Around the World
The featured speaker is Roger Lowenstein, author of the critically acclaimed “Buffett: The Making Of An American Capitalist.”
Attendees and accompanying persons will enjoy two spectacular receptions and a special evening at the Maryland Science Center located in Baltimore's scenic Inner Harbor.
