The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) will hold a joint session in Montréal, Québec, Canada on November 17, 2004. The joint session will take place as part of the closing of the CAS Annual Meeting and the opening of the CIA General Meeting.

The morning will begin with the general session "Actuaries and Actuarial Issues Around the World," which will feature a distinguished panel of leaders of international actuarial organizations presenting their views on several key questions facing the actuarial profession.
