The 2000 Annual Meeting of the Casualty Actuarial Society is a forum for actuaries and other professionals to stay abreast of current issues affecting the insurance industry.
This meeting will allow actuaries to pursue their continuing education requirements.
General sessions are planned on a variety of topics including product distribution in a changing business environment, auto safety, engineering and insurance, financial services modernization: information vs. privacy issues and shareholder value. The featured speaker is George Will. In addition, a variety of concurrent sessions are planned.
Time has been allotted for informal discussion with other CAS members. In addition to two scheduled receptions, attendees and accompanying persons will enjoy an evening at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum. Please see the guest activity program for details.
